Surprisingly enough, Alaska no longer has a death penalty! The death penalty was abolished two years before Alaska became a full state in America. There has been, on record, eight executions from 1900 to 1957, but no executions have been made since then due to Alaska Territorial Legislature. There has been a poor record of about seven executions from 1869 to 1900.
Question Of The Blog- Do you think Alaska is a better place now because they abolished the death penalty?
